National University is the largest educational and examine as well as an affiliate university in Bangladesh. This university established in the 1992 as a public university act. It's Chancellor Honorable President of Bangladesh, Vice-Chancellor Professor Harun-or-Rashid. National university have large number of academic staff 2000, administrative staff 1800, number of total students 1,000,000 (2013). National university situated with large area of land in the urban area at Gazipur in Dhaka District of Bangladesh.
National university has already a school and a center and has established a number of institutes. NU offer courses of higher level leading to M.Phil. and Ph.D degrees.
National university has four academic sections are School of Under Graduate Studies, Center for Post Graduate Education, Center for Curriculum Department and Evaluation, Training and Research, as well as Institute of Post-Graduate Studies.
School and centers manage education in collages and develop the standard. University conveniences bachelors, honors and masters degrees in ten categories: languages, social science, humanities, commerce and business administration, mathematical sciences, physical sciences, biological science, law, computer technology and education.
